You try to stay away from #X , #Instagram and other legacy social media and then:

- Notification about people writing something

- Notification about someone posting a picture

- Notification about something I might like

And so on and on and on.

It’s the drug dealer continuing to reach out for the ex-addict.

The system is broken.

But at least we have the power to turn off notifications. My phone hasn't rung in years. I hate when people expect an immediate response. I will not comply. Ever.

That’s true for sure, and I will do it soon.

However, it really shows you the need for attention of these platforms.
