I use umbrel and I’ve had pretty decent success with it. The first month I couldn’t get it to work for like a month but that’s because some parts weren’t the right parts.

My issue was the cable/case(part the SSD sits in and connects to the cable) was slightly different.

Another thing they mention is the importance of getting the name brand ras pi power cable.

The case the pi sits in I’ve seen to be pretty interchangeable. I got the recommended w/passive cooling. This means there’s no fan. My pi gets to about 130 f and stays there; system says it “normal” so I dunno.

What else…once you source the parts and wait for them; if you haven’t already or arnt too savy with home networking, at least the basics, you’ll wana do some research. I can recommend what I believe I’ve needed to learn from the get.
