It always bugs me when people that try new "extreme" diets are super certain of the superiority of said diets after a few weeks/months.

It always seemed logical to me that one's nutrition can have impact decades ahead, and what makes for a good short term diet to achieve certain goals, such as losing weight, might lead to imbalances long term...

Same goes for certain extreme sleeping schedules, that lead to sleep deprivation, it might boost your cortisol and you feel pumped initially but long term it will certainly have very bad impact in one's health.
