Exactly, I don't understand why people think this way. This would only keep guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens, criminals do not care about laws. A ban on gun sales solves nothing, especially in a country where you are legally allowed to manufacture your own firearms at home and without a licence if you choose to do so. And as if banning them would cause a drop to 0%.
