I see all these ppl with life changing diseases and injuries on Instagram and they are always smiling and trying to act so happy. Am I the only one that doesn’t buy it? Am I just miserable? lol

Probably the algorithm at work. People who are sad in the face of adversity don’t get their reels liked and shared. Selection bias favors the upbeat.

Yeah they are slaves to the dopamine from the attention and validation

I’m seeing a ton of these diseases and injuries irl too. They are not connecting the dots

I've noticed that as well from the all the various 💉 related Telegram channels. It does rub me the wrong way. HTF can someone be all smiling and happy-go-lucky given their various conditions? I'm at the point where I'm just writing them off as npcs blissfully going to the proverbial slaughterhouse without the slightest clue.

It’s fake. The happiest ppl don’t need to share their lives online constantly for validation from strangers, if anything it invites negativity. It’s the opposite- miserable ppl pretending to be happy. Covid vax just ramped this up but this was how social media is
