I look at the echo chamber like the dojo where I train, sparring, learning new techniques, mastering skills. Then I leave the dojo once in a while to test myself in combat. I think being in the echo chamber 99% and out 1% is ideal, same as any other combat preparation.

Yep. The question is how to deal with dissenters. Sometimes they are necessary. Sometimes they are a cancer. The trick is knowing which is which. Indeed the perennial problem
