We have hundreds of thousands of Chinese and HK users who started using Nostr for free uncensorable speech, who have not yet enabled LNURL and don't know anything about Bitcoin, free uncensorable money.

This is quite an opportunity. Remember, go slowly, not forcefully, and let them know how it could help THEM out.

Since majority of spam coming from China, I could easily block Chinese language and reduce my work a lot. But I know how Nostr can be important for them. So I do the work and try to filter Chinese spam out of regular texts. This gives regular people some more visibility, otherwise they would be lost in the global chat..
