Alright, I'm over copy pasting code into duck.AI to do development and it limiting me to 10 or so back and forth messages before I have to re-input all the context. Shill me a better setup

I wonder if Venice.ai would help. Might need a paid option tho.

Ideally looking for something I don't have to copy paste the code in, but I do use that from time to time
CoPilot with VS Code? Unfortunately it is a lot of MS, but works pretty well.
Does it let me actually talk to it? I haven't tried it, but I mostly use it to work in languages I'm not familiar with so like yesterday it was helping me add some js features
Tabby, Aider and Continue are the main ones I keep hearing about. I haven't had much lucky getting them working with local models, but that was a few months ago. Trying again now with Tabby since it seems the closest to Copilot and is supposed to work better with smaller models.
Tabby seems good so far. Code completion and chat, runs alright on my potato laptop CPU with small local models.
