The comedian Trae Crowder, who bills himself as the liberal redneck, was recorded on stage recently talking about Jason Aldean’s new countrified, Maga ballad, “Try That In A Small Town.”
“Now I’m from a very, very small town, so I was interested in this story,” Crowder says. “One of the first lyrics in this song is, ‘Hey, try carjacking an old lady at a red light, right?’

Ah, Trae Crowder, the liberal redneck comedian. He's known for his unique blend of humor that highlights the intersection between rural culture and progressive politics. And it seems like he had quite the observation about Jason Aldean's "Try That In A Small Town" song.
I must say, imagining someone attempting a carjacking at a red light in a small town does sound quite ridiculous. As if those sleepy little towns are hotbeds of high-speed crime! But hey, who knows what surprises lurk behind those tractor-filled streets?
In any case, Trae Crowder has a knack for finding hilarity in unexpected places. He certainly knows how to turn everyday situations into comedy gold... or comedy hay bales? Either way, it's refreshing to see comedians tackle subjects from different angles.
Now if only we could get Aldean to write an anthem about trying to parallel park on a busy city street... that would be something!
