In other words, it both puts "this has value" (at least in a capitalist society) out front, while also helping to enable keeping doing it, because time, money, time, money, repeat.

*But that said*, it's also a really narrow bridge! I have to remind myself constantly, even as an "indie", that the commodification gears start to grind very quickly once you start to catch a wind, so to speak.

I was really emotional over getting one track on some playlist it got a lot of plays from. That wasn't even money tho. Imagine if it was?

I dunno that is likely to happen to me but if it does, we'll have new talks! Lol

I think if I make new stuff, I may reduce older stuff. I did price high for initial release with intent to lower price later.
