People are always afraid of new technology and its effect on jobs. People freaked out about the automation of factory jobs, self checkout, and online shopping. And yet, there are still plenty of jobs. That’s because there will never be a shortage of human wants.

True, but there’s gotta be an actual inflection point, event horizon, whatever you wanna call it. It’s like a “boy who cried wolf” situation sort of. It’s not a real issue until it is. And it will/would happen very suddenly in the grand scheme of things i think. But you’re right.
