😂 let me feel out the interest and maybe. There are some things I'd do differently for sure, pipe cleaners so not work for leaf support. I thought I had heavy floral wire but couldn't find it.

So like what if you crocheted a piece of fishing line paired up parallel with the yarn in a couple rows, then could like pull that tighter to introduce some tension from a few different angles for support? I don't know if that's at all practical

It could work. Floral wire or armature wire of different strengths are the usual solution, you crochet around it and the yarn becomes bendy.
