Biden may have found a way to make the wokes in big tech reject the communists in the Democratic Party. He wants to make software companies liable for any hacks that happen to customers user their products.

Sounds like he intends to bang that drum going it the ‘24 election. Should be entertaining to watch.

If platforms were responsible for hacked data, they wouldn’t be able to function… but Bitcoin, Nostr and Keet would :)

It’s insanely idiotic, but that’s never stopped them before. They love trying to use the courts to sue the things they don’t like out of existence/power until they can tax them enormously like they did with Tobacco.

They are trying to do the same with gun manufacturers, oil producers, etc, etc.

Big tech will learn what it feels like to be in their crosshairs.
