Nah .. it is a cost to be a part of collective .. you can always live on the north pole and not pay taxes ..
But taxes are not even that big an issues .. cuz you can reduce your income .. the real issue is debasement .. and that is because we expect stable price of coffee 😉

I am not debating high or low .. but taxes you got to pay if you are citizen of a sovereign state .. there is no way out ..
And it is NOT theft .. just like a transaction fee on Bitcoin is not a theft ..
It could be inefficient way to collect fee .. that sure may be improved ..

Sure .. as we move to micropayments with Bitcoin layer 10 :-) .. we will be able to pay for every single service that collective offers - but some services shall be mandatory - like defence - and law and order ..
Others like education , roads shall be use basis just like electricity and water .. .
But free economy doesn't mean FREE AS IN FREE beers 🍻 ..
As I said - less gov is good .. but no gov is not the solution :-) ..
The problem on left side is they see it as an opportunity to redistribute wealth .. free market means gov provides a service and collect money for it .. defence and law is a service ..
That said , welfare is NOT a bad idea .. every now and then everyone needs a little straw .. but straw it must be :-) ..not the whole ship ..
