Follow lots of people. Find them in replies to conversations. There are no Lagos by default. You need to follow a couple of hundred accounts for a raw feed to stay vibrant.
There are some algorithms you can use, they are relatively new and I haven't tried them.
1. Set up Bitcoin Lighning wallet on your Nostr account for zapping (we call tipping with Bitcoin on Nostr "zap")
2. Pay some sats to filter spam out at https://relay.yozora.world
3. Set up a relay "wss://relay.yozora.world" on your client you like to use
4. Set up your account verification badge with NIP-05 if you want to https://nostr.how/en/guides/get-verified
5. Follow whoever or whatever you like

Try Cashu.me — go to settings, enable Lightning address, and use the address that ends with “npub.cash”. That’s the 1st step for receiving.
Once you’ve added the Lightning address to your profile, let me know and I will send a test zap. After you get the notification that you’ve been zapped, open your Cashu.me wallet and you should receive a popup to redeem the sats after a few seconds.
