Yep! I don't do it anymore.

Give it time to sync. Thought the same thing one time and it just took a bit for the nodes to sync.
Nostrgram has a feature where you can roll back your following list. Its in the profile.
Also some clients (Iris) have ability to download a backup so do that often.

Updated Plebstr and used it for a few minutes. Came back to Damus and poof.

I have a couple of questions:
Have you been using Plebstr previously without any issues?
I assume you have performed some follow or edit relays in Plebstr, right?
I'm trying to figure out which part could be causing the problem and understand the scenario better.
I had used it a few months ago, but my phone would get warm to the touch. Updated to check it out again. I was missing some relays from the ones I have so started adding some back. Seems they didn’t sync from Damus, but when going back to Damus the Plebstr relays sync’d to it. That’s when I seemed to have lost who I was following. I fixed the relays and who I’m following on Damus then I re-installed Plebstr since then and everything has sync’d fine now.

Check if the relays are okay. I’ve had that, the followers where there, I just couldn’t see them
