Are you saying that if we create a better organism than humans through AI and it results in the end of humanity, that would be the greatest achievement humanity could hope to achieve? Bc I’ve also had that thought before. As long as the machine class works in harmony with nature I can’t say anything against it.

Play "The Talos principle" and thank me later.

When you truly think about it - you realize that creating better organism than us is singularity towards which we are inevitably going.

I don't think it results in the end of humanity though. If our creation is good - it will mean infinity more agency for humans compared to today. It's just that machines will take over spearheading the expansion of consciousness.

Yes, I agree with you there. And as long as it isn’t a slavery complex, it doesn’t have to turn into the plot of the Matrix. It could be utopian

I’m curious how you view 2025 given our world’s most advanced AI is already over 20 years old and the LLM revolution is merely a side upgrade forever lagging behind the main intelligence? I’m talking about Blackrock’s ALADDIN which employs MCMC, Bayesian, SDEs, VARs, etc. It’s merger with the transformer back propagation innovation is already underway
