Holy shit! This!!!

I've struggled to put into words why I end up on the adventures in my life, and it is exactly this - I have the vision, just a few general concepts about the future, really - and a provisional plan of how to get there (sometimes very detailed, actually - but always flexible and subject to change), but I often change the plan along the way, or something else happens, and adventure ensues.

I also struggle to follow anyone who doesn't share their vision with me, and have blamed it on their failure to plan - but really it is their failure to communicate the vision, I think. I bet I'm just as guilty of keeping my visions to myself and frustrating others that would otherwise follow.
