#Bitcoin plebs only want to hear your vast opinions about bitcoin if you have skin in the game.
Otherwise your views are moot.
Get with the program already.
I'd go further and say, unless you run a node, STFU
planning to run a node, thinking of going with a separate pc or laptop since raspi is allegedly shit . any recommendations ?
I'd recommend RaspiBlitz or Start9 (you can get a discount on Start9).
Nice!! Great to hear! ๐งก
An old notebook, or tiny PC, with 8GB or more of RAM is the sweet spot IMO. And can be acquired quite cheap. Even Amazon warehouse deal, Costco, sam's club have deals on close out models. Maybe even ebay? I always spend a little more for a Samsung PRO SSD, just cause they've been super reliable for me, over years. There's value in reliability.
I've never recommended running on a PI, but I'm getting excited for raspberry PI 5, it sounds like they are 3x faster! So "well see"
3x faster , 30x less available lol
That's my worry too. hey say they fixed supply chain. Supposedly ๐
yeah well i dont think they did fix it . local authorized resellers are just not reselling , you know what i mean . i had to buy pi zeroes from dubious aliexpress sellers
๐ฏ . Personally I use my old notebooks, when I update my daily driver. I've heard start 9 is great for new users. I'm an old user, and compile from sources.
I looked into that start9 shop, they sell raspberry pis, intel nucs and librems. Things i could buy locally except the librem. So its just fancy renamed computers i guess :3
Is there a way to run a node from an android device ? I have an 8gb ram spare phone
