Saw an actress with a gentleman dining in the restaurant. They got approached by a female fan who introduced herself, then casually sat next to the actress, and chatted whilst the couple were enjoying their meal.

It was Reese Witherspoon. I found out way later because I didn't know what to Google. 😄 The friend sitting next to me eventually figured out a movie she was in and looked it up.

Well I guess only few people get famous by accident.
But also, I would probably never approach somebody, especially not in a private setting.
But it is hard to not stare at famous people when you encounter them by accident especially the first time. I try to sit facing away...

Agreed, I always viewed fame an odd aspiration to have. Imagine being moderately famous and doing airport travel, as if it's not enough hell already.
Having a lot of tattoos is also an open door to random folks starting awkward conversations , then whipping out THEIR tattoos to compare or …. whatever people do when they show off their tattoos.
