Are we heading towards the longed-for utopia of the ancient Greeks of finally freeing ourselves from all the elementary necessities of life to dedicate ourselves fully to exercising virtue?

Or, on the contrary, are we heading irremediably towards a post-capitalist dystopia with massive structural unemployment and increasing levels of poverty and inequality?
