M1 MacBook Pro. Basically stays a bit warm all the time with its memory meter in the yellow. Occasionally I kill tabs that are hogging a lot of RAM to alleviate the pressure, but it always drifts back into yellow.

Yes well i have the same habbit…my M1 handles it well while my windows is running on all 4 fans and taking 90% of memory.

Use extension to put unused ones to sleep or suspend.

I do the same shit. Got to where I call it, “declaring tab bankruptcy” when I just close them all and start over—intentions be damned.
