hmm.. Seems I got a bug. Every time I reopened the app, the public channel is back. 😥
every time you close and reopen or every time you log out and in?
I just tested with my user. It worked correctly ...

This happened to me when I first started using Amethyst. Seems to have been fixed for me in latest version though.
Yep, there was a bug fix for this in the latest. But if people log off and sign in, because the app deletes all local data, the two channels come back.
