Lovely view. I need to get back into the habit of going on walks
Always easiest to start small and work you way up.
Aim for 5000 steps a day and slowly work you way up to 10000 steps a day. Etc
I like to go midday when possible to get absorb the sunlight into my skin and preferably in green areas out of urban life.
I'll take your advice. Just have to wait for the weather to improve π
Understood. When I live in Scotland where it rains pretty much daily I hard went outdoors walking for that reason.
Glad I moved to a place with sun in the summer. Been an upgrade for my health.
Southern England here, but not like it makes a difference to the weather π, the whole bloody island is wet
Trust me I lived on the west coast of Scotland next to Atlantic and west of the highlands. Had its own micro climate. Itβs constantly low clouds and rain. Most miserable place on earth π
Sounds it haha, I suppose I shouldn't complain
I would go to the south of England like Devon for holidays lol π growing up
Haha, same here. Devon & Cornwall always hit different
But saying that Scottish highlands have stunning scenery when the clouds clear.
I've actually never been to Scotland π¬, but always wanted to. Ben Nevis would be nice to visit
And you've got red squirrels there
Go in late June or July.
Will probably be shit weather otherwise.
Isle of Skye, Fort William, Loch Lomond and Loch Ness are a must see imo
I think you've just helped me plan my holiday for next year
Road tripping Scotland is fun tbh driving country roads in remote areas in the summer. Just watch out for sheep.
It can be really cheap if you just pitch a tent or stay in hostels. Thereβs plenty of hotels if thatβs what your prefer.
Oh yeah, I forget you have wild camping laws in Scotland. Always wanted to give it a go.
Walking St Columba's Way is something I've toyed with doing too
You also free to roam and drink on the streets π
Enjoy π
I'm a proud Englishman, but Scotland is clearly the superior nation of the Union π
Scotland economy is a shit show. Itβs why I left. Zero opportunities for young people. The Scottish Goverment killed the oil industry. Now all we have is whiskey industry lmao.
The political divide is toxic from Scottish independence to EU membership to crazy climate communist policies.
Yeh major reason why I left π
SNP is a special breed of leftie politics that I've still not managed to quite understand.
Can't blame you for leaving
Well they win every election because they promise free stuff to all the people on benefits which is like 40% of Scottish people.
Thank you England for looking after us π
