People said that back then, too and it never happened. I'm confused that this saga is still ongoing. Die the shorters keep their short positions all that time? I wouldn't know how to check but it sounds a bit expensive.

I think short interest is super high again. 25% of the shares are directly registered in retail shareholders names now plus a huge chunk in pension funds and insides who can’t sell. There’s like no free float to purchase to close shorts, so the short squeeze could feasibly happen now /shrug
