In the heart of the 17th century, Theodosie, a Romanian monk, stood firm against the Calvinist Count Sigismund Kornis, who sought to seize Orthodox churches. Offered riches to convert, Theodosie refused, declaring his unwavering faith. He was tortured, his beard burned, and ultimately beheaded in Turda on September 22, 1694. Let us pray to #Martyr Theodosie, that he may intercede for us, that we may stand strong in our #faith and never betray #God. May his sacrifice inspire us to defend the #Church against all adversaries.
