True, though I think this was mostly because the DNC saw Ron Paul as un-electable so left leaning media were pushing him much like they did with Trump in the primaries for 2016.
I didn't watch him often but do remember during the Ron Paul campaign he had some good segments on how fox news would censor him

I remember MSNBC and CNN ignored Ron Paul often so I do not think that was the case. CNN even smeared him on primetime for an hour segment the day before the primary saying he was racist because some newsletter under Paul name had some things written even though no one could verify who the author of the article was. Both sides feared him. Both parties are controlled by the same people who had a lot to lose under a Ron Paul presidency so #honestmistake became a meme back then for us Ron Paul supporters.
