Couple thoughts:

1. 1/2 of all #BTC were mined before November 28, 2012

93.75% were mined by the forth halving.

In the near future only solo miners will be able to afford to secure the network

2. Bitaxe and starts OS will dominate mining

Not if one coin is worth 3.5M, then even a small block reward will be a lot and the miners will be able to pay their bills just like they do now
