Yeah. I know. Im going to wait just to see how they stretch and form fit. I might use a lighter material as more buckskin adds too much bulk...
I’ve got some leather from elk and deer I’ve shot. I kinda want to make a hoodie. I’ve seen lots of pants and jackets but not a hoodie lol.

I have two deer plus one more that I haven’t got back yet and a chocolate brown elk. My wife thinks I’m crazy wanting to make a hoodie. I am, but that’s beside the point. I think she wants to use them for a different project. Also, the only thing I’ve ever sewn is a pair of moccasins.
It is scary cutting into the skins. You want to be certain that it is going to work. Ive had a fair amount of practice on smaller things and gained lots of experience from those. I eventually got the nerve to tackle the shorts when i had about 16 hides finished... There will always be more hides to tan lol
