I guess more accurately I don't want people to unfollow me because they strongly disagree with my opinion on this matter, when we get along just fine on other matters. So I'm siloing this devisive topic so as not to aggrevate people.

I get that, it's a hot and very devisive topic. These posts will probably show up in your followers timeline anyways though? Or maybe some clients have support for thread muting after the hell thread period a while back?
