Being a dick to everyone that doesn't listen to you will encourage other people to not listen to you. Nobody wants to listen to a dick. It is just not effective if you truly want to bring other people into Bitcoin.
People don't have uniformed opinions to spite you, they have their reasons and influences. Let them learn over time, and allow them to evolve and change their opinion.
Lead through positive example, not through hostility.
