It’s very difficult to break into tech work right now. There’s a huge amount of chatter as to why, but I just thought of something.

Companies may not be able to afford hiring junior talent because fiat tech companies are so riddled with tech debt that they need people who can come in and contribute immediately.

There’s obviously a ton of other factors, but my recent experience tells me nearly every fiat company has a completely disastrous tech stack.
