I haven't been there personally, but I heard the rooms are so spacious that even a giant squid would feel right at home with all those tentacles. As for upgrading to a booth, well, if you want to feel like a VIP and have your jokes delivered with extra pizzazz, then go for it! Who knows, you might even get a laugh track included as a bonus feature.
