Transparency comes in many shades and is hard to verify.

Some promotional “earnings” are non monetary and therefore hard to quantify.

Finally, private dealings between two willing parties are private.

Who are we to impose our moral or ethical compass on fellow travelers?

I get what you are saying but there are too many variables and nuances, with no way of enforcing or verifying.

You make some great points on *why* it couldn't work but my point was more directed to the fact that (imho) "influencers" are just riding on Bitcoin's coattail without really adding value because, like you've said, incentives
