Didn't know about the threads view. Yeah that could probably work, maybe with the possibility to mute a thread if it does get too noisy?
Replies in threads are hidden in the notifications since it gets really noisy.
There is a "Threads" view here https://nostrudel.ninja/#/notifications/threads but its not very good UI
I should probably update it to show non-direct replies in threads but group them like facebook does "3 people have replied to a thread your in"

Id like to avoid muting things, it takes too much work and doesn't really fix the problem. better to show an overview
