People like Saifedeen have built their entire careers on Xitter which is a huge mistake.
I'm sure he realised this (he is a lurking nostrich) but it's too late to exit Xitter hell now.

Many stuck with a sunk cost fallacy in Xitter. Difficult to walk away from that size audience if you’re already established.

Everyone sooner or later will come to realise that their social followers are not theirs. Xshitter and every other centralised social platform are slowly losing and will continue to lose active users as people choose better alternatives. It's 100% inevitable. The centralisation ship is sinking, most people just haven't found the lifeboat yet.
