Took advantage of the cheap fees and did some LN node work today - closed any channels sub-2M sats.
I was very well prepared for the May fee spike last year, and big, robust channels are key for efficient routing and payments.

So generally speaking the best thing to do is to have big channels and life is better?
Very generally speaking, yes
Force closing a sub-1M sat channel when a peer goes offline sucks in a high fee environment
There are multiple factors to consider but with my current setup, having ~5 big channels with high quality peers is much better than 15 small channels with average quality peers
Large channel + Quality peer
