Eh.. I don't think they're trying it. They want to tax it and get their piece of the pie.

Yeah, that's true. I saw a graph from the IRS estimating how many taxes they would get from Bitcoin.

6012 attempt would likely increase the value of #bitcoin

1. If the US government thinks its too valuable to be held by plebs adversarial govs will be incentivized to own it.

2. A fair number would rather burn their corn then submit.

3. It would force hodling because you couldn’t sell it on at least an American exchange.

4. Freedom jurisdictions will start opening up to bring bitcoin wealth into their countries.
