that’s a damus screenshot, right? wondering if it’s hardcoded, cause last I checked, most NIP-11 documents still don’t contain any logo.

Noone sets it… favicon was more reliable. I think damus looks there too? If not we will need to fix that. nostr:npub12gyrpse550melzx2ey69srfxlyd8svkxkg0mjcjkjr4zakqm2cnqwa3jj5

If relay operators could end up having better resolution logos in the damus relays page through NIP-11… that might incite them to improve their branding, a.k.a. create one from scratch for most.

yeah damus checks for the nip11 icon first, if it’s empty it tries the favicon

how can we raise awareness about that to the relay operators? could make for a huge improvement as far as education goes for newcomers.

Some are prettier than others.

This is something that can really be improved on…

Additional branding tools might be nice, like:

like:

- banner image

- rich description

- pricing

- tags for content hints

- update/newsfeed from the relay's own pubkey

- "member count"

Just some ideas 😄

I'm not sure I will realistically be able to contribute in the near term but I appreciate the guide link. I think this is a worthy endeavor to give relays a more distinct identity.
