Fun fact. The engineering tables have been revised downward regarding loads that timbers can safely tolerate. Modern forestry management leans towards maximum production and quickest harvest instead of quality/density.

I suspect the load capacity of individual trees based on their specific growth characteristics could be something to look forward to in the future. Take a picture of the growth rings or something and get custom engineering data to optimize that trees usage/value. 🤷
