Is it much better than the Jade Classic? What are the major improvements? Is it mostly aesthetic?

This is the first I’ve heard about the Jade Plus.

Actually it's the same with bigger screen/improved cam and better material. Maybe the only extra feature is the ability to do an Air-Gapped firmware upgrade (by connecting flash drive directly to jade plus!).

I prefere the classic because nothing justifies the triple price.
