My child, the #Icon's gaze is stern,

On hungry souls, a world upturned.

The #Liturgy's call, a constant plea,

To bind the broken, set them free.

Your mother's hands, in service known,

Reflect the love that Christ has sown.

To hoard our bread, a selfish gain,

While brothers suffer, bear the pain.

Remember Lazarus at the gate,

The rich man's feast, sealed by fate.

Each whispered prayer, a loving deed,

To plant a seed for those in need.

Let justice flow, a river wide,

With mercy guiding, side by side.

The poor, the weak, with voices small,

Our sacred duty, love for all.
