is haven software as a service like relay.tools or has to be self-hosted?

it is not SaaS. it is self hosted software. you'll need a server or computer to run it on either at home or in the cloud. https://github.com/bitvora/haven

totally. running it via the git docs on my home server is not in my wheelhouse at the moment, so certainly building my own service is not in the cards either.

start9 does have nostr relays on the marketplace, just not haven at this time.

Have you tried to put haven in a container? Ive only gotten it to work inside of a golang container but thats 1GB. Dont know enough about go to either modify the repo (maybe something in go.mod or main.go?) or build with some flags im not aware of... help?
