Bless that man. I sat next to a really bad first date. It was so awful my table just ceased speaking to each other because we were too absorbed with what awful thing this girl was gonna say next. Also she ate sushi with a fork.

We were too close for commentary. It was just such a mismatch and so awkward. A guy who loved to travel and try new things on a date with a girl who never wanted to leave her little patch of country and was prejudiced against basically everything she wasn’t raised with and he took her to a sushi restaurant.

Gotta read the room and know the crowd. While sushi is normally a good pick, it was one of the worst for the country girl
I learned last year that if you’re meeting a date from an app and the hostess says you don’t match anyone there waiting, trust her. She was correct.
