Lightning network nodes. Those are channels to be opened with a trusted party. Like when i run my Lightning node i will get there that node is only for friends and family. Not strangers online to be cool or part of a click.. nope nahhhh thats how attacks happen.. take notes.

Trust is not required, you can open a watch tower with someone you’re reasonably certain won’t scam you and then they will have your backups. It’s very hard to run away with someone’s money in a locked HTLC

Do you have an example of where you saw this? I’m by no means a dev but have been running a node for almost 2 years with no issues.
