You can swap with just a few clicks of a button via Thunderhub. It's incredibly simple.
I also use peerswap via command line. This is not simple. A web interface for the average user would be fantastic.

But is this actually settling or converting those exact Sats back to L1?
In my research people say: no, you're going to swap it like an atomic swap because closing the LN channel can be expensive! Or something along those lines.
So converting Bitcoin to LN isn't easy, and it's not easy or cheap to easily convert back. 😮💨🧐
So the answer is to use trusted swaps? For a fee?
Yeeeesh. None of this seems decent. And this all sounds a whole lot like a LOT of other Blockchains so many Maxis deride.
What I do appreciate is that under all this convoluted smoke, buried down below, is - I think - actual Bitcoins being used that can, however complicated, be settled back to L1.
This all needs to improve. Nothing about this is perfect, seamless or easy.
The average Joe won't touch something this technical.
