What an awful article. It's very poorly written. The title seems to suggest that he turned the economy around, but then says that he did it by devaluating the currency and cutting subsidies.... That's not how you save a country
It's unfortunate that where he could make the largest impact, the Spanish-speaking world, he is choosing to squander it all by allying himself with the darkest, filthiest scum among the very abundant authoritarian right wing. He is in Spain right now attending events organized by and with literal fascists -- and I insist: literal.
