No matter how hard I try (and I do try, I'm extremely mindful of it) I always feel guilty if I'm not super busy or don't reach a certain threshold (which I arbitrarily set for myself in a different time and place) of productivity.

What's worse is that my best ideas come to me when I'm doing nothing for a while, and my mental health is better cause I have time to process and contemplate. I'm also noticeably more creative after I give my mind time to be idle, yet despite knowing that and telling myself it's okay - necessary even - I still feel guilty deep down when I do it!

Anyone else feel this way? How do you get over it....

Quality of life activities are an important form of productivity too. Rest falls under this category.

Very true! Something engrained deeply in me wants to label rest as "doing nothing" and then judge that behaviour, which I know makes no sense haha
