Fun fact: in the US, Blue Laws, also known as Sunday laws, are laws that restrict or ban some or all activities on specified days (most often on Sundays in the western world), particularly to promote the observance of a day of rest.

Europe has something similar as well

wow, didn’t know that! is it i wonder if it somehow related to religious beliefs 🤔

here in russia we can’t buy alcohol in the markets from 10pm to 10am, and i thought it was already pretty restrictive 🫠
