Yup. A threaded cap with a 1/2" or 3/4" NPT fitting welded to it and another on the other side.

👍 That's a good idea, just realised you have different pipe fitting standards here too (we have bsp here), but thanks your setting my thinking on the right course.

Yes, true. I'm familiar with BSP as Honda, annoyingly, decided on that for many of their engines. 🙄
